Today was a "free" day since it was our last day on our cruise ship (we were leaving at 5pm). Most of us went to the Nubia Museum in Aswan and ate lunch at McDonald's. We boarded the night train from Aswan to Cairo around 6:15.
We walked to the Nubia Museum from the cruise ship because our tour guide told us it "was not far." It was actually 1.5 miles away. We figured out later that he told us everything "was not far" away so that we would go and not wimp out.
